Each trim of this crossover comes standard with Subaru Symmetrical AWD and an X-MODE® feature to increase the SUV's adaptability on the trails. The available Subaru Wilderness edition comes fully designed for outdoor adventures, with a ground clearance raised from 8.7 to 9.2 inches and a dual-function X-MODE® that has settings for deep snow and mud. Most trims of the Forester can tow up to 1,500 lbs. But the Wilderness trim equipment increases its towing capacity to 3,000 lbs. maximum.
