  • Frank Ferrogine

    Hometown: Red Bank, NJ

    With over 50 years experience in the automotive industry, Frank learned the automotive business from the ground up. He broke into the industry as a sales representative in Baltimore and eventually became a sales manager and general manager at a Volvo Retailer. He is a graduate of the NADA General Dealership Management Program. Frank has been associated with Subaru since 1991 when he purchased the Annapolis franchise.

    In 1999, Frank moved the Subaru franchise along with the Volvo franchise from its West Street location to a newly constructed home just off Rt. 50 on Busch's Frontage Road. Anticipating the growth of the brand, he created an exclusive, flagship home for Annapolis Subaru at its current Annapolis location. Year after year since its move in 2004, Annapolis Subaru sells more new and preowned Subaru models than any retailer in the region.

    Based on his success of his Annapolis Subaru franchise, Subaru of America urged Frank to open a dealership to serve the residents of the Delmarva area. In January 2010, Frank opened Gateway Subaru and has incorporated his operating standards from his affiliated entities into this new location.

    In addition to Gateway Subaru, Frank is the President of Annapolis Subaru, Annapolis Hyundai, Volvo Cars Annapolis and Genesis of Annapolis.

    Active in the community, he is a former member of the Maryland Auto Dealers Association Board of Directors, Subaru of America Dealer Advisory Board and the BB&T Advisory Board. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of The Summit School and the Volvo Cars of North America Dealer Advisory Board.  Frank was awarded the Commercial Stewards Award from the Chesapeake Bay Trust. The trust's Commercial Stewards Award annually is given to recognize an outstanding corporate or commercial entity that strives to make a difference in the community and for the Bay. Frank was the recipient of the award for his work to implement stormwater management projects and best practices at his dealerships. 


    More recently, the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County honored Frank and his Annapolis Cars organization as the 2019 Corporate Philanthropist of the Year.

  • Pat Wergin
    Executive Vice President

    Hometown: Bel Air, MD

    Patrick began his career as a 15 year old lot attendant at a Volvo retailer working with our owner and CEO, Frank Ferrogine. While attending the university of Baltimore, he maintained the position of used car buyer for Annapolis Volvo/Subaru. He is a graduate of the NADA General Dealership Management Program. Upon completion of his education, he became the Pre-Owned Sales Manager. In January of 1999, Pat was made Sales Manager and in January of 2003, he became General Manager.


    As Vice President, Pat now oversees all operations of Annapolis Cars which includes Gateway Subaru, Annapolis Subaru, Genesis of Annapolis, Volvo Cars Annapolis and Annapolis Hyundai.

  • Barb Stockford
    Controller

    Barb's automotive career began in 1984 when she was hired as a file clerk at an auto dealership in her hometown of Flint, Michigan.  From her entry level job in Flint through her eventual relocation to Maryland, Barb has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge about dealership operations through the variety of roles she has filled, such as switchboard operator, accounts payable clerk, accounts receivable clerk, warranty clerk and office manager.
     
    Since joining the Annapolis Cars organization in 2002 Barb has navigated the Accounting Department through the expansion of the company from one location supporting 2 franchises to the development and operation of 5 separate locations supporting 4 franchises and a preowned sales center.

    Barb enjoys time on the Chesapeake Bay, shooting pool and time with her family and friends. While she sports a Detroit Lions jersey on Fridays during football season she knows her team is usually behind the 8 ball. Barb is a graduate of the NADA Dealer Academy.

    A Maryland native raised in the Baltimore area Brian relocated to the Eastern Shore with his wonderful wife, Laura over 30 years ago. Prior to joining the Gateway Subaru family in 2010 Brian had been in the lending business for over 13 years. When he isn't at Gateway being the "Subaru Guru" Brian enjoys fishing, watching movies and traveling.

    Don was born and raised in Baltimore, MD but has lived on the Eastern shore most of his life.  He comes to us from an extensive retail background and is customer driven.  Don likes to spend his free time with his wife, two children and their dog Rex. In his spare time Don is an active member at his Church, loves to work on cars, and when not working outside or around the house he is supporting his hometown football team the Baltimore Ravens.

In his spare time Kyle likes to relax at the beach and spend time with his wonderful family.

When Matthew isn't selling Subarus, he enjoys spending time with is loving family, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and enjoying the beautiful scenery the Eastern shore provides.

    After moving to Rehoboth Beach nearly 15 years ago and settling in Millsboro, Steve and his wife, Jody, enjoy spending time together with their four children and three grandsons. With over 25 years of sales experience, Steve excels in helping customers find their ideal vehicle, always bringing a positive attitude and a great sense of humor to the process. His admiration for the Subaru Outback-purchased from Gateway Subaru in 2022-evolved into a genuine passion for selling these exceptional vehicles.

    Outside of work, Steve cherishes time with his family, often visiting Rita's Custard, fishing whenever he can, and joining local poker games. Looking ahead, Steve dreams of traveling abroad again and potentially retiring in Barcelona by the time he's 80.

Nanci and her wife, Jen live in Delmar with their two adult children and 5 fur-babies. They enjoy their free time together watching movies, visiting amusement parks, and occasionally traveling.

    Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Pennsylvania, Jennifer has also lived in Florida, California, Colorado, and New Jersey.  She has earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Master's Degree in Psychology, and is currently working on her dissertation for a Ph.D. in psychology.  Married for 17 beautiful  years  with two children. Jennifer and her partner love Subaru so much that they both work at Gateway Subaru!  Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, horror movies, and roller coasters.She adores her  2024 Crosstrek Wilderness!  An animal lover, Jennifer's family includes five fur babies, 3 cats and 2 dogs.
